This Event is part of the South Coast Culture Tour of Coos County
Our group will begin with a short tutorial on Eco printing, a process that transfers the natural dyes and shapes of plants onto fiber leaving a print behind. You will then be led on a hands-on experience to prepare your own item to print.
Once your item is bundled and soaking, the Education staff from South Slough Reserve will lead you on an interpretive 1-hour hike on the beautiful trails.
Come prepared with proper shoes for hiking and dressing in layers is recommended.
Upon your return, you will retrieve your item, and take it home with you.
