Circles in the Sand Walking Labyrinth
Circles in the Sand was created to inspire love, joy, and kindness. Our team designs breathtaking sand labyrinths, surrounded by intricate patterns and artwork. We invite everyone to take a peaceful walk along the sand paths and immerse themselves in the beauty and serenity of the experience.
What to Expect
The times listed on our public schedule indicate when the artwork will be complete and ready for walking. Construction of the labyrinths typically begins two hours prior to the scheduled walk time. Plan for approximately 20 minutes to complete your walk. The finished labyrinth will remain accessible for at least two hours, or longer, depending on the incoming tide.

Our home beach is Face Rock Wayside in Bandon, Oregon. Please note that parking is limited and tends to fill up quickly. To prevent overcrowding, our staff will be stationed at the entrance to manage the parking lot capacity.
What is "Circles In The Sand?"
Public walks, known as Draws, transform the beach into a living canvas. Each labyrinth is crafted freehand, its design unfolding naturally across the sand. This year's overarching theme is love, while individual Draws explore diverse inspirations—from the ocean and the cosmos to Zen tranquility. Once completed, these labyrinths form a single, unbroken path, free of dead ends or wrong turns, inviting reflection and connection.

Walkers start at a designated entry point, follow a single winding path through the labyrinth, and emerge at the exit. Nearby, a Dedication Circle offers visitors an opportunity to inscribe their name or dedicate their walk to someone special by writing in the sand.
