Firecracker Run
Firecracker Run is a 1/2-mile kid?s run and a 4K for grown-ups. Kid's run is 1.5 times around the lake. 3K is 2 times around the lake followed by a HUGE hill in beautiful Mingus Park.

Golden and Silver Falls Hike
During the 3 mile, moderately strenuous, hike we will explore the falls and rich natural and cultural history of this special place. Clamming Workshop
On July 12 at 10AM, the South Slough Reserve is teaming up with the Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife (ODFW) for a fun, family-friendly clamming workshop. Knowledgeable instructors will identify a variety of edible species, proper digging techniques, and how to prepare and cook clams.
