Bay Area Fun Festival
The Bay Area Fun Festival ? The Last Big Party of the Summer ? is happening September 20?21, 2025! As summer winds down, the South Coast turns up the fun! The Bay Area Fun Festival, also known as the greatest last party of the summer, takes over Coos Bay and beyond every third weekend in September.
Run Whiskey Run
Located roughly 20 miles south of Coos Bay, the region?s first single-track trail system is open year-round to mountain bikers, but for the first time ever will be reserved for those of us who shred at running pace.
Turkey Trot
5K Fun Run/Walk/Push a Pram. This is a low-key, fun event for the whole family (no numbers, no timing), and a great way to build up an appetite for the big Turkey Feast.
Holiday Lights at Shore Acres
The dazzling Holiday Lights at Shore Acres will light up Coos County on November 27, (Thanksgiving Day) and will be on display from 4:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m. each night (including December 24th & 25th) thru December 31.
Night of 10,000 Lights
On Saturday, November 29, the Night of 10,000 Lights returns to Old Town Bandon. Many traditional Christmas activities of the Night of 10,000 Lights will take place starting in the afternoon and continuing into the evening.
