Located roughly 20 miles south of Coos Bay, the region?s first single-track trail system is open year-round to mountain bikers, but for the first time ever will be reserved for those of us who shred at running pace.
5K Fun Run/Walk/Push a Pram. This is a low-key, fun event for the whole family (no numbers, no timing), and a great way to build up an appetite for the big Turkey Feast.
The dazzling Holiday Lights at Shore Acres will light up Coos County on November 27, (Thanksgiving Day) and will be on display from 4:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m. each night (including December 24th & 25th) thru December 31.
On Saturday, November 29, the Night of 10,000 Lights returns to Old Town Bandon. Many traditional Christmas activities of the Night of 10,000 Lights will take place starting in the afternoon and continuing into the evening.
Mac's Run is a 5K and 10K on a hilly and challenging course with breathtaking ocean views. The race is entirely on paved roads.
