Welcome Back Puffins at Coquille Point
Join us on Saturday, May 2, to welcome back the puffins to the Coquille Point Overlook, located at the end of 11th Street. Shoreline Education for Awareness (SEA) Wildlife Interpreters will have spotting scopes for the public to view nesting marine birds and birthing harbor seals on the sea stacks. You'll get a chance to zoom in on Common Murres, Black Oystercatchers, Cormorants, and the elusive Tufted Puffin.
