Movie Night: The Color Purple, the Musical
This movie musical is the latest adaptation of Alice Walker's classic novel and "The Color Purple" stage musical. The story follows the life-long struggles and relationships of an African American woman living in the south during the early 1900s.
Show time is 7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 7, at the Sprague Community Theater. The film is directed by Blitz Bazawule, Warner Bros. 2023, rated PG-13. Run time is 2 hours, 20 minutes.
