Dragon Workshops! Help Build a Giant Dragon Sculpture

Drop-in to a volunteer workshop to create parts of a Giant Freindly Dragon Sculpture, (10 ft. tall and 40 ft. long) to live in Bandon at Art 101, 47134 Highway 101. Created under the direction of Artist and Teacher, Angela Haseltine Pozzi, founder of Washed Ashore and ReUPit: Art to Save the Earth. Everyone can participate in creating this work of art and have pride in their accomplishments by visiting it for years to come. This sculpture is being made of repurposed car bumpers, tires, a variety of discarded household objects and cans and aluminum. Volunteers will participate in creating the scales of the massive dragon by sorting, cutting, wiring and drilling. All ages and abilities welcome means something for everyone.. Drop in during open hours 2:30 - 5 pm or Sign up one week prior for groups over 4 people or people with severe special needs. We invite families, community members and tourists to join in the fun.
