"Coastal Memory Walk" for the Alzheimer's Association-The Longest Day

"Coastal Memory Walk" offers three different courses, all with ocean views. With two courses right on the beach!

Meet at City Park at 9 AM to register and have coffee while listening to a brief introduction of the Circles in the Sand Team and a speaker from the Alzheimer's Association. Brochures and information will be available, along with some warm ups before walk begins.

The longest walk will go down the stairs at Coquille Point and towards Face Rock to a special "Memory Circle" created by the "Circles in the Sand Team." Here, to honor the person you are walking for, you can write the name of the person in the sand.

Return to City Park to close the event. Have your photo taken in the photo booth, stroll through the "Memory Garden," and pick up your swag bag of items donated by local merchants.
