Some cast members will need to stay for the first rehearsal 4p.m. to 8:30 p.m.\n\n\n\nApproximately 50 to 60 cast roles are available for local students. All students from Coos County K-12th grade are encouraged to audition. No advanced preparation needed. Most cast members will have rehearsals for the entire week from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.\, and must be available for all rehearsals.\n\n\n\nSynopsis: The Secret Garden\, an original Missoula Children's Theatre rendition\, is a joyful retelling of a story of hope and celebration and all good things in life. Mistress Mary Quite Contrary embarks on a journey from India to her uncle's home in England. Along the way she makes friends with the hilarious Canadian Geese and the colorful Giant Bugs that Rock! In time\, she learns to appreciate everything around her\, including the Moor Animals and the helpful Fireflies. Add to that a good healthy dose of caring\, and what happens? Colin\, Martha\, Archibald well\, the whole household - begin to enjoy the return of health and happiness in a garden carefully tended... until it blossoms once more.\n\n\n\nPerformances will be May 9\, at the Sawdust Theatre\, 120 N Adams\, Coquille\, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.\n\n\n\nThis production is part of the Missoula Children's Theatre's unique international touring project and is presented locally by the CREATE Youth Center of Coquille.
